We remember Ethel as a dear, kind and loving wife, mother,and friend; often quiet in her own way while observing and loving life. Mention must also be made of her beautiful handwriting, always the first sure sign that a card or letter was from her. We also have great memories of our socializing with Ethel and Don when we all lived in Baie D'urfe, Que, enjoying frequent fun activities with our Couples Club at Corpus Christi Parish. Once while decorating a gymnasium for our spring Couples Club Dance, Don literally walked across narrow I beams 40 feet above the floor to string decorations, while Ethel looked on in horror, barely able to watch. To her great relief, Don succeeded, of course, and everyone had another fun evening ! Just over 6 months ago we visited Ethel at home with her adoring family around her. We had intended for our visit to be a special treat for her, but could not have known then that this would be our last visit and also a fond farewell to this dear friend.
