My mom, Elaine Douthwright and Ehtel have been best friends as long as I can remember. They became neighbours and ultimately best friends when the Courtneys moved to Truro when Chris and I were in Gr.1. Ethel and Mom shared just about everything in their lives...kids being kids,husbands being irritating at times, weight loss ideas and support (Remember FWA Chris?),sorority, special occasions, grandchildren and then great grandchildren. Even though many miles separated them in later years, they were always a constant in each others lives. They enjoyed all their visits from around the corner to Ontario and back. My Mom shall miss Ethel terribly, but understands and welcomes the thought that Ethel is now with Don, Chuck and Bradley. Take care my riends. Hugs all around. Marilyn (Douthwright) MacKay
